Periphery belong to a new wave of metal, a movement thats gaining force arround the world. The movement is called Djent, a brutal combination of progressive metal and modern producing. Headliners for the Knock Out Festival, Blind Guardian made an amazing aparence playing all of the fans favourties. Starting with the epic Scared Worlds, the band began their massive performance inviting everyone in to the magic that is their music. Little by little, the band comes out to the stage, but when Hansi appears, the crowd roars: He is the lord of the scared world. An amazing performance, an amazing night! I hope you enjoy the pics!

With over 35 years of playing, Saxon made its appearance in the Knock Out Festival as the 5th band on the list. Their music spread like wildfire across the fans, inducing everyone to headbang to songs like Motorcylce Man and Princess of the Night. Euphoric, metallic, radiant and energetic would be the adjectives one would use to describe their performance. Simply awesome!

Dragonforce make their aparence as the number 4 on the Knock Out list. You can inmediately see a wave of fans moving towards the front of the venue, to get a chance and see them just a little bit better. Partly because the heavy drumming, and the fastness of the music, one cannot distinguish pefrectly whats going on musicaly. But one thing is for sure: anyone can enjoy this show. Guitar antics, jumping, crazy solos and a perfect frontman. Dragonforce might not be the favourite power metal band of everyone but they DO know how to put on an entretainging show.
